Father ANT, (as you like to call yourself),
Your last news letter spoke about honesty righteousness etc.
Father you wrote the posted email with full knowledge that it would cause major division in our church. You have blamed everyone for the division but you accept no responsibility yourself, Why?
Is it the Coptic way to publicly and openly attack a Bishop, despite the fact by your own admissions you went to Egypt but was dissatisfied with their response?
Father Ant why did you address the letter to "IBRAHIM",(ibstar01@hotmail.com)?
What role does he have in the church?
Why didn’t you send it directly to HGBD? Infact why didn’t you send it to him at all?
What did you mean by your last statement to “IBRAHIM”, be part of the solution and not the problem? Did "Ibrahim cause you any problem(s)?
You refer to George Attalah the unknown, Father Mikhail knows him very very well!!! Did you think to ask Father Mikhail???
Are you going to acknowledge your own errors?
Father Ant, you knew about the decree appointing you to our college before it came out, infact you conversed directly with Bishop Bishoy. At the time you stipulated that you would return to the college as long it had no association with the diocese, and Bishop Bishoy agreed.
Was that the reward for writing your email?
Father Ant, did you consider the views of the college parents and students? Or was it your own needs that come first?
Father ANT what gave you the right to remove the picture of HGBD off the wall? Father Ant what were you thinking when you replaced it with a picture of an Asian lady?
Who is this lady?
Do we worship her?
Father ANT, how dare you place a picture of an ASIAN lady next to the picture of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, and HH?
You restored the picture of HGBD only after the disgust shown by a member of the congregation yesterday, and father George had the nerve to say the picture of HGBD was never there.
Yet your email talks about dividing the church and body of Christ, Father Ant make no mistake it is you that has divided the church, and we will not allow you to divide our college and separate it from the diocese.
Father ANT if you do not like it pack up and leave all the staff, students and parents alone.
I suggest you re read your own email and start been truthful with yourself.
Your actions have not harmed his grace, it has harmed you.
Your email is full of contradictions and hypocrisy.
Father Ant, you WERE a much loved and respected Priest, but you have fallen under the spell of UNCLE "A" and destroyed your good standing in the community.
We pray for you, and for your repentance and salvation.
Father ANT, I am sad that I as a layman has to point out all these faults of yours, however you set the example the day you took it upon yourself to attack and try to point out flaws in HGBD, all this despite your statement that you personally don't have much to complain.
Your email is a contradictory mystery, initiated on behalf of UNCLE 'A" and with the blessing of Bishop Bishoy. It is time for you to undo the damage you have caused, to the church, the congregation, the college, and the good name of the clergy.
However we still respect that you are still a priest and if our lord can forgive you, who are we to refuse forgiveness. Father I am now asking you to start been part of the solution rather than continue been part of the problem and puppet for UNCLE "A" and his gang.
Father Ant I am trying to be honest with you, so do not be offended and pray for us.

are you saying REV Father Antonios, put a picture of a woman up in the school in between the picture of Jesus Christ and Pope Shenouda?

I take my children out of this college.

I do not believe Father Antoinios can do this.

We know that certain people in the college monitor this blog daily, if not Fr Antonios as well.
The report was sent to us by an eyewitness. However, we believe that the issue has been resolved and the photo of HG Bishop Daniel has been restored to its place.
We give the college the right of response or denial and we promise to publish it front page as soon as we receive it.
To date, we have not received any response to any of the issues raised on this blog especially in relation to the following two issues;
1) The Financial Audit Report decreed by HH Pope Shenouda III, decree no. 6/38 on 12/1/2009, which we believe it has been completed.
2) The political party that happened in the college on Mon 7/9/2009.
People can take no response for they either do not care about the college reputation or a disrespect to the 50 plus daily parents visiting this blog.
To comfort parents, we urge the college to email us a photograph of the photos displayed in the college.
Again, we will immediately publish any formal response that we receive. Don’t hold your breath though.

A Message to Father Antonios, Amir Hanna, Medhat Gurgis, & other members.
ReplyDeleteWe are Coptic Orthodox, we all have an obligation to protect and build our church in every possible way, not to dismantle it. Under no circumstance should we do anything to take away from the value of the Coptic orthodox name and reputation. We as Copts are taught we DO NOT fight amongst ourselves. When we are in dispute, we adapt the church laws, starting with the teachings of Jesus Christ as contained in the manual of life, “THE HOLY BIBLE”. Every one of you are fully aware of the process for raising a concern. If you are unhappy with the result, pull out your mighty sword, "PRAYER".
TRUE COPTS do not resort to underhanded, ungodly, unchristian, evil tactics.
Father Antonios, you are very aware of Coptic Church law. You give wonderful sermons, and you write very well. We acknowledge you are an intelligent and educated man,
Why then do you want to remove and break up the colleges away from the diocese? Father it is clear, your personal opinion is more important than the church laws? Father if you can not work for a college under the diocese, please go do something else, you are a talented man. But do not go against long held church laws because you are dissatisfied. To the steering committee members and their side supporters,As "LEADERS" of the Coptic diocese of Sydney, you have all let us as a community down, and set a bad example. Whether your motives are Right or wrong I can not comment. I can say you have allowed your PERSONAL concerns and views, to diminish the value, reputation, and esteem of the Coptic Church in Sydney. As a group you have shown No regard or concern for the integrity of the Coptic Church, or the well being of the community and especially the youth. In order to obtain your objectives, we the community have watched all of you resorting to every possible tactic, with godly or not. You have directly attacked HGBD in the media, via EGYPT NEWS, emails, rumours, letters, secret meetings, plotting and scheming and you have even made up stories to brain wash the community. Now we have a Coptic College where a priest, placed a picture of a woman, in place of the picture of HGBD, for all to view when they attend the college office. Father this is an insult to Christ himself, the Holy spirit, and to the Coptic name. To ALL of you, THIS IS NOT AN ATTACK ON ANY PERSON in any way.
However if we accept you as you are, we will only allow you to get worse.
But if we treat you, as if, you are, what you are capable of becoming,
It is because we only want you to become that. We are doing it out of love,
Like a parent does to a child, Like a teacher to a student, Like a priest to a confessor, Like a brother to brother. Our desire, is that you become what Christ desired you to be.

We want you to brighten every corner, not cast a dark shadow. We simply ask you to consider our points of view, we want to be united as Coptic Christians, as gods children, not as enemies. We want no hatred or division amongst us.
If you are unable to work with and love HGBD, and your dislike towards HGBD is that strong, please do the right thing and step away from the diocese.
HGBD is a bishop, Medhat you and your wife are doctors, Amir and Fayeze you are both govt employees. Just as you have full time jobs, HGBD has a full time job, he is our Bishop. There is no choice, we appreciate all you have done in the past, but you have no claim to the diocese. The diocese belongs to Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit has selected HGBD as trustee till the end of his days. HH Pope Shenouda III, selected and anointed HGBD, He laid his blessed and holy hands upon him and wed him to the diocese of Sydney. We totally reject and abhor any one resorting to underhanded tactics. It is not what is preached from the pulpits in the Coptic Orthodox churches. It is time to work on unity and the return of HGBD.
