Council of Ahithophel, or in today’s language Axis of Evil (same order as named on the attached document) are:

• Dr Medhat Girgis (finally! smile and welcome to the picture)
• Dr Sarah Girgis (welcome on board)
• Mr Fayez Hanania (finally! smile and welcome to the picture)
• Mr Hany Gayed (wouldn’t you know it)
• Mr Wahid Azmy (welcome on board)
• Mr Samir Kirolos (welcome on board)
• Amir Hanna (the very humbled, last but not least)

Now, it is all clear and no need for any guess work, thanks to the Axis of Evil signing the letter. They declared their intention of the circus that was staged in the school on Monday 7/9/2009. The last paragraph in the letter stating that two of the three schools have already declared independence and they now asking for a Papal Decree instead of a coup for the third one. So it is either a Papal Decree or they will go for it unilaterally!! So we did not make it up, it was true.

We have some legitimate questions to the Axis of Evil:

1. Who appointed you guardians on the Coptic community in Sydney? You are self-appointed aren't you? This Diocese still have a Bishop, wouldn't you know it, (may the Lord confirm him on his seat for many peaceful years).
2. Do you pray for your bishop during the mass and in your prayers? Or do you live hypocrisy life?
3. Does any body contribute a bit to the church, financially or otherwise, has the right to own the church and overtake its decisions?
4. What is the point of spreading a letter that you are sending to HH? It is no brainer really, you would like to cause as much build up and pressure to achieve your wicked goals, is it not?!
5. Your desire to deny the authority of the priesthood is very obvious. Since the priesthood is the main difference between Orthodox and western churches (ie. Protestant etc.), why don't you collectively leave us in peace and declare your affiliation to another western church. We suggest you may be much happier there as there will be no authority over your big egos.

Our beloved Amir Hanna, we love your plans and tactics. Please keep them coming as they further expose you and especially the other two members of the Steering Committee who are just working behind the scene. We will respond to the other details of your letter to HH in another post soon.

Until then, please do us a favour and DO NOT LIE by spreading that everyone who exposes you and your gang is somehow remotely controlled by HG Bishop Daniel as you have when you fabricated the story of your work complaint. We'd like to spare Metropolitan Bishoy from you crying on his shoulder asking for another apology letter! The irony, which we can not understand, that HE comes to your rescue and quickly responds to your demands! Oh well, spare yourself a sin this time as you know it is not true and nobody now believes you.

As for our second beloved son Hany Gayed (Mr Desperate); mate, we understand your situation cause we can't offer you a sleazy position like that and you need it, don't you? We knew it from day one that this was the price you were offered to distance yourself from the parents' body. The school management guru, Uncle A??? (so they call him) was hoping that by doing so the parents' movement would diminish (this tells you something about his intellectual level). Far from it, the parents' movement is actually stronger without double agents and will remain so until we liberate the college from all Axis of Evils.

SMC declares independence from the Diocese!!

Some busy bees were working behind the scene in preparation for today’s political show on the school site. “Mr Ha. Ga.”, the loud mouth disciple of Uncle A??? (so they call him), was in the school almost on a daily basis during the last few weeks. Spotters were suspicious and questioned among themselves seeing him roaming around the school like a rooster.

“Mr Ha. Ga.”, the loud mouth disciple of Uncle A??? (so they call him), has orchestrated a get together for some politicians from the NSW government that is currently on the lookout for any lifeline. The idea was:

1. To send a strong signal to the church hierarchy in Egypt as well as to the Coptic community in Sydney that HG Bishop Daniel has no future place in Sydney Diocese. Forget it, somebody else is already in charge here!! You guessed it; his master Uncle A??? (so they call him).


2. To advance his political career. A golden opportunity to get a political mileage out of a school that is falling apart. A bit of self interest will do no harm and MAY go long way, especially in politics!! YOU WISH..

School literature handed over to guests had no trace of HG Bishop Daniel or His photo.

The intention was to excise the school from the Diocese. A move which was started by St Mary and St Mina's College few years ago and likely to be mimicked by St Bishoy College in the future.

Some allege that Fr Antonios Kaldas (the current school director reappointed by His Holiness’ decree earlier this year and the author of the controversial email sent to HG late last year) gave the nod of approval (or at least did not object) to this heresy before printing. If true, we are just wondering: when Abouna prays “Litany for the safety of the church fathers” during the Holy Mass, will he pray for the safety of HG Bishop Daniel who is the brother in the Apostolic Ministry to our Patriarch and Pontiff Pope Shenouda III??!!

This action did not raise an eyebrow of any of the following guests of honor, one wonders why?!:

1. Mr Amir Hanna; General Superintendent and Vice Chairman of Sunday School of the Diocese, Lecturer at Pope Shenouda III Theological College, and member of the Steering Committee.
2. Mr Magdi Kilada; Superintendent of Sunday School of St Mark Cathedral in Arncliffe and father of Mr Samuel Kilada member of the school board.
3. Dr William Boctor; former member of the school board.
4. Mr Khairy Graice; Chairman of The People’s Voice Association PVA.
5. Dr Joseph Israfil; PVA Executive.
6. Dr Magdi Shehata; member of the Board of Deacons of St Mary and St Mina’s Cathedral in Bexley and regular column writer for the church magazines (Spring Of Love and El-Manara).
7. Mr George Abd Elsaid; former Financial Manager of the school and father of Mrs C. Spirou vice president of the school P & F Association for 2008 and 2009 and former president for two years before.
8. Mr Wahid Azmy; Business man and prominent Copt.
9. Mr Ramez Ramzy; Business man and prominent Copt.
10. Mr Michael Gindy; Secretary of the school board.

Others who were on the guest of honor list but did not attend were:

1. Dr Medhat Girgis; Secretary of the General Advisory Board GAB.
2. Mr Fayez Hanania; prominent member of the Steering Committee.

Our reverend fathers of the Diocese have got to be commended for collectively refraining from attending after learning of the conspiracy. Fr Yousef Fanous was the only attending father apart from the fathers of the school Fr Antonios Kaldas, Fr Shenouda Mansour and Fr George Nakhil.

The fact of the matter is; HG Bishop Daniel is the bishop of The Diocese of Sydney and Its Affiliated Regions unless said otherwise by HH Pope Shenouda III (may the Lord confirm him on his seat for many peaceful years) and the Holy Synod.

We call upon the Vicar General Fr Tadros Samaan to investigate and if see fit request a Clerical Council for the responsible/s. We will not hold our breath though..

Otherwise, sources predict that we will soon, may as well, enthrone Uncle A??? (so they call him) as the bishop for Sydney Diocese and His loud mouth disciple “ Mr Ha. Ga.” as His Chori-Episcopus (Auxiliary Bishop) for the Coptic Education in NSW.

She was born in Nazareth from Joachim and Anna. At the age of 3, she entered into the Temple. At 12 years of age, she was given to the care of Joseph by Divine providence. Archangel Gabriel announced to her the Incarnation of the Lord through her and she accepted.
She followed her Son and God throughout His earthly preaching, Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension. She was also present on the Day of Pentecost. She lived with the Apostle John after her Son’s death guiding and counseling the Apostles, being their mediatress before her Son. She reposed at the age of 60.

The Holy Virgin Mary holds the highest place in the Church, since through her the Divine plan was fulfilled. At the Council of Ephesus, the Fathers reaffirmed her to be the Theotokos (God-bearer). In her honor, one of the Church Fathers testified to this in this hymn: “All creation rejoices in you: the assembly of angels and the human race. O Sanctified Temple and Spiritual Paradise, from whom God, Who is before the ages, was incarnate and became a Child! He made your body into a throne, and your womb He made more spacious than the heavens. O full of grace, glory to you.”

The Old Testament foreshadows her prominence in the New Testament through certain prophetic images. She is symbolized as “the temple” for she is the dwelling of God, “the door” through which God entered our world. In keeping with these prophetic types, her icon is always situated on the right side of the icon of the Enthroned Christ upon the icon screen, as the Psalmist indicates in the Psalm (Ps. 44:9)
According to ecclesiastical tradition, St. Luke the Evangelist was the first to write an icon of the Virgin and the Child.

Setting the record straight ...

We are a group of honorable parents who care passionately about our SMC. We are not going to state our number so that Uncle A??? (so they call him) does not get a shock. We will give him a clue, to look at the number of participants to our pre-held polls on the left of the blog. However, we are sure he is smart enough to guess our group has grown up enormously since the last poll. Not to mention our supporters and empathizers to our cause, for which we are grateful and overwhelmed, after the huge damage he and his friends have caused to our Coptic school which is directly affecting the future of our kids (the future generation of our Coptic Church).

Uncle A??? (so they call him) is fishing in the muddy water, as always, by turning every opportunity into an attack on the Diocese and HG Bishop Daniel (always blame somebody else). We are not here to defend HG because we have our disagreements not with HG personally, unlike others, but with His Coptic education policies.

Nevertheless, it was brought to our attention that Uncle A??? (so they call him) was screaming his head off alleging that the Diocese and/or HG are recording his calls. Well, your intelligence has failed you this time Uncle A??? (so they call you), maybe it’s time for early retirement! He sent emails to half the globe without explaining how could this happen given his engineering credentials?!

Is this just a smoke screen because you are ashamed that you were exposed? Or, will you now deny the truth of what you said, as always?! Isn’t the context of what you said more important?!

Nice try to divert the attention of everybody to how you got caught, because you are always very careful, rather than discussing the context of what you said!! Very old, childish and stale strategy!!

Had Uncle A??? (so they call him) read Ibby’s email response and his analysis to the recording carefully, he would have known that the recording leaked from his closest possible ally (his disciple and loud voice). It is no brainer really to know that the recording side is the clearer. By the way, we do not know who Ibby is nor we have any relation what-so-ever with him. We thought we close this door in case Uncle A??? (so they call him) would like to use it as another exit strategy.

We would like to remind Uncle A??? (so they call him) of his knowledge and blessing of this person’s previous incident of recording a telephone call with HGBD on 13/12/2008. Do you recall this incident Uncle A??? (so they call you)?! We are happy to refresh your memory about this incident, in case the Dementia is taking its toll, in particular your advice to this person as of what to do with the recording rather than condemning his act?! If you'd like to, Uncle A??? (so they call you), please drop us a line.

We advise you not to deny this incident, in public or in private. Your denial will force us to defend ourselves, which will not be in your favour.

Why are you now surprised that this person (your disciple and loud voice) did it to you as he did it before to others with your full knowledge and blessing?!!

Uncle A??? (so they call you), we welcome any investigation into this matter because the outcome may not please you. In fact it will shock you, as it has the potential to expand.

Mr “N” is proven REALITY not “hearsay”

The above quote is extracted from an email dated Wed 5 Nov 2008 at 18:42:08 to Mrs C. Spirou (Vice President of SMC’s P&F 2008 & 2009 and President for two years prior) from a very passionate parent at SMC (will call him here Mr Xxx). The email was among a thread of emails between the pair which has reached us among others as a result of email leaks.

On Tue 4 Nov 2008 at 22:32:52, in an email to Mrs C. Spirou, Mr Xxx revealed a wicked scenario that was designed to bring another mate of the Board members Mr “N” to SMC as a Head Of College. The scenario was spelled out in the email as follow:

“Is the following scenario fair?!
The ad will be placed close to the school holidays.
No one to apply as all candidates will be already committed by then.
Communication is in place with Mr “N” who is already promised the position.
Mr “N” will be the only applicant.
Mr “N” signs up his contract during the school holidays.
The parents will be meeting and greeting Mr “N” the new HOC in 2009.
They are kidding!!”

Well, it is proven now that they were not kidding.
Please read the attached announcement in the Spring Of Love Issue 1035 dated Sun 12 July 2009, p11.

The revelation by Mr Xxx did not deter the Board from executing their scenario. Perhaps a little change won’t hurt, which might have been a little advice from the “management guru” SMC’s consultant Uncle A??? (this is how they call him, may be in respect to his age!!). So instead of HOC, let us make him a Head Of Primary! That will work!!

Is it a coincident that the email mentioned above dated 4th November 2008 shortly before Mr “N” announces his resignation from his previous job on 24th November 2008? Please refer to attached copy of newsletter.

After repeated insistence of Mr Xxx that Mr “N” had been interviewed and was promised the senior position at SMC, Mrs C. Spirou pledged “if this is the case, I will myself call the Board and ask questions”

On the same day between 8:04 and 8:25 pm, Mrs C. Spirou calls someone and say this; “I have just spoken to the one I thought was the one you were referring to, but he has NOT been interviewed or been offered the job. He is also not considering applying for the job at all (and that is the truth - I just called him)”.

Now, Mrs C. Spirou,
· Who do you think was not saying the truth?!

· Do you think you owe Mr Xxx an apology?!
· Will you now call the Board and ask questions?! Or were you part of the scenario?!

· Do you feel betrayed/ disappointed by losing your ambition (Deputy HOC position) by giving it to another one of their mates?! Clever distribution of roles, is it not?!
· Will you protest this action by the school executives and the Board?! How?!

If this is the best they know about managing a school,

God help us and our children.

How the Australian Government is allowing such disgrace to continue?!

to insure government grants (Tax Payers' money) are actually spent according to the covenants of educational grants.

SMC financial statements 2004 - 2007

To put things in perspective, what sort of money are we talking about??!!

These figures are public record from the school Annual Reports published by law (in compliance with NSW Education Act 1990) on the school website http://www.stmarkscollege.com/arep.php. 2008 School Annual Report is due in almost two weeks.

School income:
2004: $5,169 2005: $5,267
2006: $5,175 2007: $5,585
Average annual income for the last four years is $5.3 million.

Govt. grants (State & Federal):
2004: $3,794 2005: $3,867
2006: $3,751 2007: $4,084
Average annual Govt. grants for the last four years is $3.87 million.

Government Grants form approximately 73% of the school annual budget.

Who at the college is qualified to run an institution with annual budget over $5 million??!!

The answer to this question will explain the financial and managerial mess that SMC is currently in!!!

Has anybody thought of hiring the services of a business manager as is the case at other reputable schools??!!

Deacon Timion investigated... evidence no. (2)

Deacon Timion reiterated the following allegations on so many occasions.

أنا حققت فى الموضوع، ولقيت إن المطرانية سـحبت فلوس تلات مرات من المدرسـة!!! وإن البورد القديم بعت جواب وقال بطلوا تسـحبوا فلوس!!!ا

"I investigated the issue, I found that the Diocese has withdrawn money from the school on three occasions!!! The former school board has sent a letter saying stop withdrawing money!!!?"

He confirmed the same during the "highly confidential" meeting on 28/12/2008 which was leaked to the press and sent by emails before its ink dried. (please refer to the meeting minutes published on our previous post "No smoke without fire… evidence no. (1)", p2 paragraph 3)

Is there any one still in doubt that government grants getting siphoned from the school??!!

Deacon Timion made serious allegations that ought to be examined by the relevant Govt. Agencies.

NB. Deacon Timion is a highly credible source given his senior positions in the Diocese and in a strategic Australian company.

We would like to present to the Australian Authorities the first evidence of the alleged financial inappropriateness at SMC. Thanks to Mr Amir Hanna “Deacon Timion”, the General Superintendent and Vice Chairman of Sunday School of the Diocese, Lecturer at Pope Shenouda III Theological College, and member of the Steering Committee, (it doesn’t get any better than that). Mr Hanna released the minutes of his meeting with the Vicar General of the Diocese Fr Tadros Samaan on 30th December 2008, which was attended by:

• Dr Medhat Guirgis, Secretary of the General Advisory Board (phone conference),
  
• Mr Fayez Hanania, Member of the Steering Committee (phone conference),
  
• Mr Michael Atteya, Principal of St Mary and St Mina’s Coptic College,
  
• Five prominent priests from the Diocese and others.
  

The minutes of the “Highly Confidential” meeting was published by the Arabic newspaper Egypt News “Akhbar Masr” after it was distributed widely to the Coptic congregation (not much of confidentiality, hey!!).

Mr Hanna declared very clearly the following;

• “The financial Grant for St Mark’s College gets siphoned to the Diocese’s account and returned to the school to benefit from the interest.” (page 2, 3rd point).

• “Insistence of the Bishop on forming central system for the schools mainly for the purpose of saving money and controlling over management of the schools, principals and directors and control over the money.” (page 2, 5th point).

• “In the Core Group meeting, the main goal is for the Diocese to earn $200 per each student.” (page2, 6th point).

• Mr Michael Atteya: "Financial interference in St Mary’s College and leaking of financial documents to the press and others.” (page 2).

We would like to highlight the following:

• Mr Hanna made his revelations from position of authority and with certainty.
  
• His statement was backed up by the principal of St Mary’s College Mr Atteya.
  
• There was not a single objection from Dr Guirgis, Mr Hanania or anyone of the attendees.
  
• The alleged financial inappropriateness is in breach of the grants' covenants, not to mention it starves the school of financial benefit (interest).
  
• The document was agreed upon and signed by (8) attendees and witnessed by (5) priests without signing. All those people can not be wrong.
  
• We are in Australia, if they do not already know it, why are they communicating in Arabic?!!

PS. Of course we can not confirm the return of the money to the school bank account in full!!

These are very serious allegations of financial corruption involve Government Grants declared by one of the most senior people in the Diocese. Therefore, we call upon The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) to investigate this document, its contents and interrogate all attendees.
